This program is uniquely tailored for each campus to meet your school's specific needs. We will do a pre-assessment to determine major areas that need emphasis and custom design your workshop with those needs in mind.

Teamwork and Relationship Building

A leader's true effectiveness is measured by the organization they lead. A good leader must not only build their personal relationship with members of that organization, but also foster positive interactions between the members. The major objectives of team building are to encourage trust and collaboration among team members.

This session is completely interactive and highlights the different ways to work together as an effective team. Students explore the importance of balance, continuity and encouragement. Using a quiz model, leaders identify their natural roles as well as their strengths and weaknesses in a group. The session also uses role-reversal exercises to allow leaders to exercise different practices and approaches to team building.

The session stresses the importance of open communication and clarification of goals. Leaders must help all members recognize their role in achieving their goals by identifying and coordinating members’ strengths, such as being a “thinker” or a “feeler.”
