Whether small or large, within all schools, are hundreds to thousands of students coming together with different foci in life. Different foci present major conflict. A student leader must be able to diffuse the conflict and become a peacemaker. This ability to mediate conflict is one of the most important leadership skills required for individuals to be an effective student leader.

Student Leadership Mediation

Onsite and online, Campus Harmony, Inc., offers individual courses on aspects of student leadership as well as a “Signature Harmonizer Leadership Certificate.” We can help students assess their personal leadership needs according to their interests and participation in student services, student development and achievement. We help campuses to select their own curriculum from courses in:

Leadership

Anger Management

Stress Management

Conflict Resolution

Diversity/Sensitivity Training

Generational Differences

Team Work and Relationship Building

Communication

Presentation Skills

Campus Harmony presents a full-day training session incorporating all these subjects, while also including the courses Marketing Your Leadership and Transferable Skills, Public Speaking and Creating an Image of Leadership.

At the end of the day and upon passing the post-test, students earn the “Signature Harmonizer Leadership Certificate”. Any students who do not pass the certificate test on their first attempt may try again at a later time.

Campus Harmony, Inc., provides instruction through one-day workshops, lectures, small group discussions and coached mediation role-playing. Courses are challenging and interactive and relate to real-world situations. We supply all teaching and training materials, including the Campus Harmony, Inc., Student Leadership Handbook.

Our staff recognizes that today’s student leaders must be strategic thinkers who can promote conflict resolution within their organizations and throughout their college campuses. This sort of commitment is critical for today’s global-oriented student leaders and our training provides tools, methods and processes to maintain high performance student leadership principles.

Our interactive Website provides students with an online resource that covers all information in our courses and may also be used to participate in the certificate program. Videotapes of workshops are also available to workshop participants.

We will accept school checks, cashier’s checks or money orders. Discounts and payment plans are available for those purchasing the entire “Signature Harmonizer Leadership Certificate Program” and available to groups and organizations enrolling 25 or more students at a time.

The certificate training is eight hours, with breaks and lunch. However, it is not the traditional lecture training style. Our program is completely interactive and the time really does travel quickly.

Our program is geared towards student leadership development. We focus on communication, anger management and conflict resolution, along with traditional student leadership development. We travel to your campus and our highly skilled instructors make it easy to pay attention and retain the information. We keep you engaged!

Campus Harmony, Inc. has the right to certify students upon completion of the certificate program.

What do students do with the certification after completion? With certification, your students have the rights to our name for job and graduate school references on applications, as well as letters of recommendation for either. Students will use their skills to make their campus a better community and a better place in the world.
