Dr. Audrey Newsome attended Morgan State University for one
year, upon which time she enlisted and served in the
United States Marine Corps. Upon receiving an honorable discharge
from the “Corps”,
she attended and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Winston
Salem State University in Winston Salem, North Carolina. With honors,
she completed a Masters of Education in 1992 from the University
of North Texas located in Denton, Texas.
Dr. Newsome’s professional career in higher education spans over 16 years. She has taught study skills classes, served as a counselor/advisor, Director of Student Services, Director of Student Support Services and Assistant Director of Academic Advising for the Collin County Community College District, while serving as staff advisor for numerous clubs and organizations.
Prior to her enrollment at the University of Texas at Austin in August 1996, Dr. Newsome served as Assistant Director of Academic Advising for Collin County Community College District. In this role, she had many responsibilities including hiring, training and supervision of all academic advisors. She also served as the administrator in charge of academic support services for student athletes and students on academic probation and suspension and as administrator of the district pre-law advising program. Dr. Newsome received her Doctor of Philosophy degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005.
Upon completion of her doctorate, Dr. Newsome set out to fulfill
her dream of owning her own corporation, while combining
her education, military background and her passion for working
with students. She has fulfilled that dream and is currently the
President/CEO of Campus Harmony, Inc., a student leadership training
and mediation company.
Dr. Newsome is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Inc. and serves as the Graduate Advisor to the undergraduate chapter,
Sigma Kappa, at the University of Texas at Dallas.

With more than 10 years of comprehensive
student leadership and training experience, Beaux has been
active in student leadership all through his collegiate and
post collegiate career.
He has held such titles as Freshman
Class President, Student Orientation
Leader, Student Activities Senator-At-Large
and many more. He is an active member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity
and was also President of Public Relations Student Societies
of America. His life goal is to continue helping other college
students develop into positive role models and leaders on
their campuses and in life.
Beaux is also a credentialed Mediator
with special certification in Family and Transformative Mediation.
Beaux attended Northwestern State University before obtaining
his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
