Educational Programs
Campus Harmony provides educational programs to enhance the teaching
of
nonviolent conflict resolution skills for primary school
teachers, students, student leaders, staff of community development
organizations, and others engaged in peace-building initiatives.
Our training establishes a safe pathway, particularly for student
leaders, to process problems in their organizations and throughout
the college community in a way that all students and staff can
understand and really engage, and gives them the specific skill
set necessary to address those problems that specifically relate
to leadership.

The “Campus Harmonizer” Certification is our Signature
Education Program. The certification is a highly interactive training program in student leadership. This program is uniquely tailored for each college campus to maximize the impact of the training. We do a pre-assessment to determine major areas of emphasis.

Education for Peace and Economics Foundation: ESP/PIE 501c3
Campus Despite the widespread acceptance of the key role small businesses and entrepreneurs play in our economy, many institutions of learning are not preparing our young people for careers as business owners. They are overwhelmingly being prepared for a life of working for someone else. In today’s rapidly changing economic climate not everyone is going to be able to find that "good job with a good company." That is the reason ESP/PIE™ Program will be effective.
Learn more…Anger Management
Campus Harmony, Inc. shows students that any anger involved in a conflict must be resolved as the first order of business. Students learn to overcome conflict by implementing positive practices introduced by Campus Harmony, Inc. and converting negative responses to creative and powerful sources of energy that will improve life and relationships.
Learn more…Stress Management
For many students, college is their first experience juggling the demands of school, work, diversity in new relationships and social and professional organizations. These responsibilities and the stresses that come with them can be overwhelming. Students must also learn the importance of time management.
Learn more…Conflict Resolution Using Mediation Process
Campus Harmony, Inc., trains student leaders with the transformative approach, fostering empowerment and recognition among all parties, as they better understand one another’s perspectives. This approach also fosters opportunities for moral growth during mediation. The program specifically addresses conflict resolution as a student leadership skill, rather than as a subject for professional mediation.
Learn more…Diversity/Sensitivity Training
Campus Harmony, Inc., helps students to see the impact of a diverse community on personal and group interaction. Stereotypes and cultural biases are explored with an open and nonjudgmental approach that promotes appreciation of diversity as part of successful moderation, conflict resolution and strong leadership.
Learn more…Teamwork & Relationship Building
A leader’s true effectiveness is measured by the organization they lead. A good leader must not only build their personal relationship with members of that organization, but also foster positive interactions between the members. The major objectives of team building are to encourage trust and collaboration amongst team members.
Learn more…Communications: Open communication, non-verbal communication and empathic listening
Student leaders often think of communication only in terms of verbal and written exchanges, but open communication requires much more. A good leader uses body language, tone and facial expressions to provide continuous, encouraging feedback. Good leaders must employ empathic listening, in which they understand what others say on personal, emotional and cultural levels.
Learn more…Presentation Skills
No matter how wonderful or important the message, it will only be heard when delivered in an interesting manner. Excellent presentation skills are vital for student leadership and advancement in any profession. A good presenter moderates the pace and power of their words, overcoming any “stage fright” for truly effective communication.
